The Big Sleep Out

ShelterBox are a charity who provide emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters, at the time when they need it the most.

As part of the Maidenhead Festival on the weekend of 27th July, we teamed up with Rotary in Maidenhead to organise the Big Sleep Out to raise money for ShelterBox!

This fundraising event saw a village of 10 ShelterBox tents being set up on the site of the festival and ticket holders were challenged to survive a night camped out using the equipment provided in the box.

The event was a great success, seeing 15 people sleep out in the tents and together raising over £700 for charity.

A mini site with more information and details of how to book next year has been set up here as part of the Rotary in Maidenhead website.
