The Council is responsible for the running of the club, from planning our very busy social calendar, finding volunteering events for us to take part in to looking after our new members.
You'll normally find the people below at one of our events, come along and say hi to find out more about what we do.
Matthew is our club's President and runs the council and all club meetings. He sets the club's objectives for the year and is also our representative to our sponsoring Rotary club as well as the other Rotaract clubs in our district. And he's a little bit obsessed with Lego.
As we are a registered charity, Shivani looks after the administrative side of our club's organisation. She takes the minutes at our monthly meetings, assists the President with organisational tasks, and generally helps him whenever he gets confused (which happens a lot!)
Volunteering is what sets our club apart, and it's Clare's job as Community Officer to ensure we're involved with plenty of volunteering and charity events in the local community.
Becky is the first person that comes over to say hello when someone turns up to an event for the first time. She looks after the membership list and sells our branded club clothing.
Naomi's job is to make sure our agenda is jam packed with social activities, as a welcome break from all our hard work at volunteering efforts. This includes pub trips, dinners, nights out, and larger events such as our annual weekend away.
Hannah produces all of our publicity material, promotes our presence on social networks, looks after our press releases and is responsible for publicising our club and what we do to the world!
James is our International Officer, and is in charge of bringing us cultural and international-themed events. And of course helping to arrange a trip to visit our Quadrilateral counterparts in Germany!
Being in charge of Personal Development, Andy is responsible for planning activities that stretch us and help improve our professional skills. He also looks after our website.
Making spreadsheets since an early age, our Queen of Numbers Becky is in charge of the finances of the club. She keeps track of all our fundraising and charity donations.
